Christopher, aka “Chris,” aka "DJ BMore Ben" is making waves as one of Baltimore’s most celebrated DJs. He has built an impressive career, earning a strong reputation for his talent, passion, and success in the music scene. Pictured here, Chris proudly represents our family as part of a promotional campaign for the upcoming professional boxing event in Baltimore on September 27th. He is the son of Darnice and Carlton Smith, the grandson of Mattie Mae Davis Smith, and the great-grandson of Mattie Highsmith Davis Davis.

Thank you all again for coming out and making our 2025 Highsmith Family Reunion in Atlanta, Georgia such a joyful and memorable occasion! Your presence, laughter, love, and energy truly made this year’s gathering one to remember.
A special thank you to everyone who contributed time, talent, and resources to make the event a success. From organizing activities to preparing food, handling logistics, sharing photos, researching history, and lending a helping hand wherever needed—your efforts did not go unnoticed, and they are deeply appreciated.
As we reflect on this incredible weekend, we’re already looking ahead. I will host our regular scheduled family check-in meeting on July 20th to begin planning for our next reunion in 2027. During this meeting, we’ll pick a theme, discuss potential locations, gather input from the family, and officially pass the planning torch to our next reunion committee.
We will meet July 20th at 6pm (eastern time) via zoom (link will be shared soon), so please keep an eye out.
Thank you again for being part of such a beautiful celebration of our Highsmith family legacy. Let’s continue to build on our traditions with love, unity, and purpose.
